Sponsored by First Stitches in Canon City, a three day quilt retreat where you will make this beautiful, unique quilt. The retreat will include all instruction from cutting to completing the quilt top*. The class is being taught by pattern designer, Nani Kaai whom previously owned Na-La's Quilt Shoppe and is currently manager at First Stitches.
You will also have access to an exclusive, members only, Mountain Majesty Retreat FaceBook page. Here you can ask questions, make comments, & report your progress.
Kits will be available in 4 color ways for $175 and include all fabrics for the quilt top, including binding (backing is not included).
If you choose to use your own fabrics, yardage requirements will be provided after sign-up.
The retreat runs from 9am - 4pm Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.
Each morning a selection of pastries will be available.
Lunch is included all 3 days.
Dinner will be on your own.
On Saturday evening, for a nominal cost of $10, an optional dinner & shopping event to be held at the First Stitches Quilt Shop.
Cost of the retreat is $325.
