On Wednesday, January 15th we welcome Craig Eckert back to Stick City in collaboration with Public Lands.Craig is a retired geoscience advisor since 2017, lives near Pittsburgh, PA. Over his 38-year career in the petroleum industry, he worked across West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Texas, driven by a deep passion for understanding the earth’s natural processes.
Today, he focuses on exploring nature on foot, embarking on long-distance backpacking adventures across the US and Europe. An avid canoeist, golfer, and skier, Craig remains captivated by the natural world, always fascinated by the rocks beneath his feet and the landscapes that shape our planet.
Join us as he tells us of his most recent adventure completing all 486 miles of the Colorado in 33 days, all while enjoying a beverage from Stick City Brewing.
