part of the St James Dance FestivalThe island will be alive with Rock & Roll once again, when “The Class of ’58”, regarded Internationally as one of Europe’s best and most popular Rock & Roll and Doowop bands plays St James on the 24th May.
The Colemans, now into their 22nd year as an all-family unit, having celebrated their 20th Anniversary in 2022, “The Class of ‘58” consists of the Whole Coleman Family; Dad, Howie on Guitar/ Vocals, Mam, Chris, on Double Bass/ Vocals and sons, John, on Drums/ Vocals and David, Piano/ Vocals.
The band are a regular at top-tier festivals and events in Europe and the Rest of the World and have completed headline performances at many major festivals including "Chromefest”, NSW Australia, The Summer Jamboree Italy, Bethune Retro France and Rockin’ Doowop Gran Canaria among many others, and have recently completed a four-date Arena Tour as guests of popular main-stream German artists, “The Firebirds”.
There are free Lindy Hop and Rock'n'Roll Workshops running throughout the afternooon, if you want to get your skills up before the evening.
