ADULT RESOURCE ALLIANCE
The Adult Resource Alliance of Yellowstone County has been a cornerstone of senior support in the region, offering essential services that promote health, connection, and independence for aging adults. Through programs like Meals on Wheels, senior lunch sites, transportation assistance, and the Resource Center, the Alliance has worked to ensure no senior feels alone or forgotten. Its community-driven approach and broad service reach have made the Alliance an invaluable part of the safety net for older adults across Yellowstone County.
BIG SKY SENIOR SERVICES
For over four decades, Big Sky Senior Services has provided compassionate in-home assistance and prevention services to seniors and adults with disabilities. Focused on helping individuals maintain independence and dignity in their own homes, Big Sky offers vital programs such as personal care, homemaking, and an elder abuse prevention program—the only one of its kind in Montana. With a mission rooted in respect and empowerment, Big Sky Senior Services has been a trusted resource for families navigating the aging process.
STRONGER TOGETHER: A MISSION-DRIVEN MERGER
Now, these two respected organizations are merging to become one powerful force for good known as Allies in Aging. By combining nearly 100 years of collective experience, Big Sky Senior Services and the Adult Resource Alliance are uniting to amplify their shared mission: helping older adults thrive with dignity, independence, and care.
The merger allows the new organization, Allies in Aging, to deliver a wider array of services more efficiently and expand its reach to meet the growing needs of Yellowstone County's aging population. Existing programs will continue without interruption, and clients will benefit from the same trusted care—now backed by a stronger, more unified organization.
With the brand identity on the horizon, Allies in Aging remains deeply committed to honoring the legacies of both Big Sky and the Alliance. Together, they will build a future where every senior has the resources, support, and respect they deserve.
