61 years ago on June 16, Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman in space. 41 years ago, American Sally Ride became the country's first woman in space. As a way to celebrate, join us for Rocket Day at the International Women's Air & Space Museum!
The team at the museum and our dedicated volunteers have been hard at work creating a safe and engaging program. Learn about the physics behind rocket and jet propulsion!
