Wichita Habitat for Humanity is thrilled to invite the community to our Rock the Block Piatt Ribbon Cutting Ceremony! This event will take place at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 25 at 2601 N. Piatt Wichita, KS 67219.This year, we are focusing on transforming an entire block by taking homes down to the studs and rebuilding them to Habitat's high standards. It's a huge effort and we cannot wait to share it with you!
To celebrate this incredible progress, we will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony and volunteer opportunity, proudly sponsored by the Wichita Independent Business Association and Volunteer Kansas.
Coffee and community, sponsored by Starbucks, will be open to the public at 8:30 a.m. prior to the program. Participants interested in volunteering afterwards may sign up at wichitahabitat.org/rtbpvolunteer.
To ensure the safety and accessibility of the event, parking will be available on Minnesota Street, Ash Street, and Madison Avenue. Please do not block driveways or park directly on N. Piatt Avenue.
