Join Smithers Exploration Group for Rock Talk 2025, highlighting British Columbia’s most active exploration area – the Northwest Region of BC. This year’s conference promises a diverse range of speakers with talks that range from epithermal and porphyry deposits to regional and project updates.
Registration is open for the Early Bird rate of $160 plus GST until February 10 after which the full rate of $200 plus GST will kick in. There will be no registration at the door.
Registration includes:
- Presentations from a wide range of companies active across northern BC
- Networking opportunities with presenters
- Free membership in Smithers Exploration Group
- Evening receptions, daily lunches and coffee breaks
- Mini curling ‘spiel PLUS
- Your option to ski on Hudson Bay Mountain.
The conference will be held at the Smithers Curling Club 4216 4th Ave.
• Tuesday February 18 – 4 to 7 pm: informal meet and greet with snacks and refreshments at the SEG Rock Room at 101 – 3423 Fulton Ave.
• Wednesday February 19 - 8:45 to 4:30 pm: presentations with lunch and coffee breaks at The conference will be held at the Smithers Curling Club 4216 4th Ave.
• Thursday February 20 - 9:00 am to 2:40 pm: presentations with lunch and coffee breaks, followed by a round of curling and reception with food and beverages, all at the The conference will be held at the Smithers Curling Club 4216 4th Ave.
• Friday February 21 - some folks will opt to stay for skiing/boarding at amazing Hudson Bay Mountain.
