Welcome to ROCK STARS – Monthly Inclusive Climbing Club!
I’m Leila, the organiser of these sessions, and I’ll be on unpaid leave until March. To keep everything running smoothly while I’m away, booking for January–June has now moved booking from Eventbite to the Boulders Climbing Wall booking site.

Please remember that this club can support with assisted hoists, so we can support individuals with disabilities. This club is on the quietest evening and staff have specific training in climbing for all. We have a volunteer Jemma who is amazing, she attends and is a consistent friendly face and facilitator of this session.
📣 Important Update: January–June Sessions
To support everyone’s development, the Monday sessions will now be split into two levels:
Beginner Session
🕓 4:30–5:30pm
A gentle introduction to climbing—ideal for attending 1–3 times while you learn the basics.
Intermediate / Development Session
🕠 5:30–6:30pm
A focus on progression: knots, belaying each other, climbing technique, and working through NICAS syllabus level 1.
We’re trialling 1-hour sessions to give each group dedicated support and space to grow.

🧗 What to Expect:
- Small group sizes (max 8 participants)
- All equipment and instruction provided
- Adapted harness and hoist system available for wheelchair users
- Instructors specially trained in adaptive climbing techniques
- Opportunity to socialise, grow, and challenge yourself in a safe environment
ℹ️ Important Information:
- Age Range: 7–18
- Accompanying Adults: Must stay on site; welcome to watch from the café seating area
- Clothing: Wear suitable sportswear; the centre can be chilly, so bring a jumper!
- Accessibility: Free parking, wheelchair-accessible facilities and support available
