The Rock Off is back on! Join us with Friends of Sailor Bar to restore the flow of water in this stream by moving the rocks that were placed across it This stream is an important fish habitat and foraging area for waterbirds. Help us keep the ecosystem flowing! To locate the stream, head towards the boat launch from the Illinois entrance and head into the last parking lot on the left before the boat launch area. The stream is just down the trail from the parking lot.
Bring some gloves and a bag if you would like to pick up fishing gear while we are there along the stream, the boat launch area, and turtle pond.
Wear steady shoes, gloves and sun protection.
Participate at your own risk.
Sailor Bar has obtained a permit from CDFW and County Parks.
