It's 1987. Bourbon Room bus boy (and toilet-plunging pro) Drew Boley dreams of rock glory on the Sunset Strip! Sherrie Christian arrives from Kansas in search of her big break as an actress! It's love at first sight...!
... until their rock ’n’ roll fairy tale is threatened by two German land developers who sweep into town with plans to turn the fabled Strip into just another capitalist strip mall.
Will Drew and Sherrie find their way to the heights of fame and fortune? Or, (as show narrator Lonny says) will they learn "on the Strip, the dreams you come in with may not be the dreams you leave with... but, hey. They still rock!"
