About this Event
Hey y'all, the second annual Rock for Relief WNC music festival returns to Waynesville, North Carolina on Oct. 3-4. This year, we're hosting an outdoor main stage on Miller Street in downtown (right in front of Bosu's Wine Shop). There will also be numerous bands during the day at several venues around Waynesville and greater Haywood County. All proceeds will go to the Haywood County Arts Council, a longtime nonprofit based in Waynesville. Friday, Oct. 3: Main stage headliner will be beloved jam/rock act Big Something Unplugged, with Asheville-based Billingsley (rock/pop) opening the festivities. Late-night will be with Cloud Circuit (rock/electronic) at The Scotsman Public House around the corner on Church Street. Saturday, Oct. 4: Main stage headliner will be legendary Nashville blues-rocker Patrick Sweany. Opening acts through the afternoon/evening on the main stage will include Asheville All-Star Jam, Red Clay Revival (Americana/indie), Pleasure Chest (blues/soul), Arnold Hill (rock/jam), and more. Late-night with Smashing Mouths (90s alt-rock/pop tribute) will take place at The Scotsman Public House. Support live music. Support nonprofits. Support local business.
