Welcome to the Rock Creek Rumble! This is a juniors-only mountain bike race for ages 10-18, held at the Ride Rock Creek Mountain Bike Park in Zirconia, NC. The race is USA Cycling-sanctioned and organized by the professional staff of NCCX and RRC.All the Info:

RACE COURSE:
The race will be held on an approximately 2.1-mile course with 420ft elevation gain per lap. Racers will complete multiple laps with a target time duration as listed in the registration.
The course will be open to registered riders and coaches/guardians/parents during practice sessions on Friday afternoon and Saturday. Coaches/guardians/parents pre-riding must pre-register and receive a coach’s number plate before accessing the course. The coach’s plate will be complimentary but required.

*There will be two race category options for Junior Men and Women 15-18 years of age. The OPEN category is for faster more experienced racers. The regular category is for new and developing racers. You can only register to race in one category, not both.
RACE REGISTRATION:
Pre-registration is required! Registration is open through Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
A USA Cycling license is required. Racers may purchase a one-day license ($15.00) during registration or purchase an annual license from USA Cycling here. There are two options, a Race license for $40 or Race + license for $280 with more benefits!
Racers competing in this USA Cycling-sanctioned race will earn points for eligibility toward the 2025 USA Cycling Mountain Bike XC National Championships to be held July 14-20 in Roanoke, VA.
OTHER NOTES:
Primitive camping on-site is available on Friday and Saturday nights. Pre-registration is required and can be done below.
A discount pass will be available for racers to enjoy the Ride Rock Creek Mountain Bike Park.
PRIMITIVE CAMPING
Rock Creek Bike Park offers primitive camping for racers on Friday, March 21, through Sunday, March 23. Booking can only be done through our website and on-site booking is not available. Stay on-site in the open pasture for a convenient and easy race day experience. It’s also a great opportunity to relax and spend time with friends!
