1/08: Rudy Colombini Band:
Rudy brings his passion for music and his love for San Francisco to Music City SF with a weekly residency. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to his music, join us every Wednesday for an unforgettable night of classic rock covers, and original tunes.
In 2024, Rudy released the single "Message of Love" through MI5/Universal Music, which climbed into the international digital airplay chart’s Top 20.
His experience as an artist and songwriter has shaped his ambition to create Music City San Francisco as a music epicenter and a nurturing environment for emerging talent. His goal is to make Music City San Francisco a catalyst for artistic revival, providing a centralized location where artists can connect, collaborate, and find their audience. It is the perfect gift back to the city that nurtured him, and that Rudy so dearly loves.
01/08: Strange Culprits
Strange Culprits makes pretty fables: music for people with scars, just like them. Our scars are proof of our strength.
Seemingly disparate elements, thrown together by circumstance, that somehow end up working well together. If the band were Canadian, the situation would be likened to musical Poutine.
Style-wise, the music is mostly American post-punk of some variety, and borrows from classic soul, honky tonk, pop, and folk. The music may speak to you, or it may not. Listen and decide for yourself. If you have been through some stuff, you’ll know what’s up.
The band hails from the San Francisco Bay Area.
01/15: H is 4 Hector
H is 4 Hector is an American rock band, formed in 2010 in San Francisco, California. The group consists of music created by songwriter Hector Zaragoza (vocals, guitar, and keyboards) and performed by Anastacio Rodriguez (Lead Guitar), Kyle Geary (Drums) and Aiden Smith (Bass). After releasing several singles and three albums within the San Francisco music scene as High Like Five, Hector Zaragoza pushed H is 4 Hector as part of the pop electric rock revival scene. H is 4 Hector's singles had drawn attention from a large variety of media outlets touring in the United States and the United Kingdom. The music features a melding of poprock, 90s-2000s punk and electronic influences and a raw simplicity of composition, arrangement, and performance.
01/15: Arcade 9
Arcade 9, the dynamic four-piece band hailing from Oakland, CA, has been turning heads and capturing hearts since their formation in 2022. Led by the powerful and emotive vocals of Aleu Moana, this female-fronted pop punk/emo band channels the raw energy and spirit of early 2000s punk, infused with a nostalgic nod to the aesthetics of the 80s and 90s. Arcade 9 is more than just a band; they are a revival of the punk spirit, a celebration of nostalgia, and a beacon for those who dare to dream in neon.
01/15: Delta Wave
Delta Wave met in their teens going to backyard shows in their small, suburban town on the Delta. Like the invasive nutria, they are spreading from there. Taking influence from a range of music but gravitating towards punk and rock, they think they sound like Superchunk meets Guided by Voices but people have said they sound more like The Replacements meets The Get Up Kids. Maybe it's the beers and the vocal range. You, dear listener, can be the judge of that.
01/22: Bluesadelix
Veterans of numerous rock, blues and folk bands from Los Angeles and San Francisco in the 1980s and 1990s, Bluesadelix was formed in 2019, focused on performing their own brand of psychedelic blues rock, relying on the songwriting talents of Robert Hill and Mark Ungar. The five members - two drummers, bass, guitar and keyboards - infuse many different styles into infectious rhythms and memorable melodies. You’ll hear elements of 60s British Blues, improvisational psychedelic San Francisco jam bands, and the power of hard rock, tipping their hats to such bands as Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Cream and Steve Miller.
01/29: Swami 3
We are 3 brothers from San Francisco, California and have been playing pop and rock music since age 5. Rohan is fluid on the keys, Shaan dazzles with drums & vocals, and Noah jams on guitar and bass. We’ve performed as a band since 2017, initially playing covers by The Beatles, Queen, Elton John, Bob Jovi and more - and now we write and perform our originals. We love playing instruments, writing songs, & spreading smiles!
