The Rock-A-Sonics exciting mix of atomic-age rock ‘n’ roll, classic country, rockabilly and rhythm & blues has been filling dance floors since 2014. Led by the gifted young Willie Barry, this Maryland group has played rockabilly festivals in Las Vegas, Spain, New England, Florida and Nashville and perform regularly throughout the mid Atlantic. They record for Swelltune Records.

The Peashooters
Jason “Hoss” Hicks is a founding member of rockabilly band, The Peashooters, and US skiffle pioneers, the Old Line Skiffle Combo. Now living in the Tidewater VA area, Jason has been steadily playing around the Blue Ridge circuit. He makes annual appearances at the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, and does occasional shows locally, including many appearances on the Buddy Holly Tribute, where he delivers the Ritchie Valens material perfectly!
For this show at Dietle’s, Jason will be doing some Peashooters material, some Ritchie Valens, and some of his own stuff. He’ll be backed by Louie and Tommy (Rock-A-Sonics) who were also in The Peashooters, plus Eric Hurtt on guitar, filling the big shoes of the late great Pedro Sera.
