Welcome to the first Rochdale Virtual School Conference: From Surviving to Thriving! Join us at Rochdale Town Hall for a day filled with insightful sessions, engaging speakers, and networking opportunities to support the presence, participation and progress of vulnerable children in education. Whether you're an educator, social worker, IRO, health proffessional , community lead sector worker or any other service which touches upon the lives of vulnerable children, this event is designed to help you navigate education and reduce barriers to engagement in today's world and consider how collaborative working from agencies can support educational outcomes. Come and hear all about the new extended responsibilities of the Virtual school, and hear about the work of the Virtual School thus far in response to these duties for our cared for children, children with a social worker, previously looked after children and those in SGO or Kinship care. Learn from experts, listen to the lived experiences of our key note speaker Sean Sherwood, share your experiences of effective multi agency working, and leave feeling inspired and empowered.
