✨ Commercial Dance – alkeet ✨
Robynin opettamassa commercial dance -tyylissä yhdistyvät erilaiset tanssitekniikat jazztanssista katutanssilajeihin, kuten hiphopiin, houseen ja reggaetonin. Robynin koreografioissa yhdistyvät erilaiset rytmit, askeleet ja groovet – musiikin kuuntelua, esiintymistä ja itsevarmuutta unohtamatta!
Workshop aloitetaan tehokkaalla lämmittelyllä, jonka aikana harjoitellaan myös koreografiassa tarvittavia tanssitekniikoita. Lopuksi tanssitaan Robynin suunnittelemaa koreografiaa.
Tämä workshop on sinulle, jos olet hiljattain aloittanut tanssiharrastuksen ja kokemusta on kertynyt vielä vähän. Etenemme rauhalliseen tahtiin ja harjoittelemme askeleita ja koreografiaa pienissä osissa tekemällä paljon toistoja.
✨ Commercial Dance – keskitaso ✨
Robynin opettamassa commercial dance -tyylissä yhdistyvät erilaiset tanssitekniikat jazztanssista katutanssilajeihin, kuten hiphopiin, houseen ja reggaetonin. Robynin koreografioissa yhdistyvät erilaiset rytmit, askeleet ja groovet – musiikin kuuntelua, esiintymistä ja itsevarmuutta unohtamatta!
Workshopin aikana harjoitellaan erilaisia tanssitekniikoita, jotka valmistavat koreografian opetteluun. Koreografiassa otetaan mukaan haastetta mm. koordinaatiosta, liikedynamiikoista ja musikaalisuudesta.
Keskitason workshopilla edetään alkeisworkshopia nopeampaan tahtiin.
✨ Heels – avoin taso ✨
Robynin avoimen tason Heels-tanssitunnilla pureudutaan Heels-tanssin perusteisiin. Workshop sopii tanssijoille, joilla on jo aikaisempaa kokemusta heels-tanssista tai jostain vastaavasta tanssityylistä.
Workshopilla harjoittelemme heelsin perustekniikoita, ja harjoitukset soveltuvat kaiken tasoisille tanssijoille aloittelijoista edistyneisiin. Robynin workshopille suunnittelema koreografia sopii tekniseltä vaatimustasoltaan keskitason tanssijoille, ja se on tyyliltään sensuelli ja sisältää rauhallisen lattiaosion.
Robynin opetustyyliin kuuluu kuitenkin se, että koreografian materiaalia harjoitellaan pienissä osissa ja tehdään paljon toistoja. Haastavampiin tanssiliikkeisiin on aina tarjolla helpompi ja yksinkertaisempi vaihtoehto.
Workshopille voi tulla mukaan myös ilman korkokenkiä. Jos sinulla on herkät polvet, voit ottaa mukaasi myös polvisuojat.
🧡 Robyn Vuorela 🧡
Robyn Vuorela on tanssija, näyttelijä ja laulaja, joka toimii myös koreografina ja tanssinopettajana. Hän on alun perin Hämeestä, mutta opiskellut ja työskennellyt niin Helsingissä, Tukholmassa kuin Lontoossakin. Robynilla on ammattitanssijan tutkinto Tukholman Balettakemienista ja tanssitaiteiden maisterin tutkinto London Studio Centrestä.
Robyn on työskennellyt tanssinopettajana vuodesta 2015 ja opettaa aktiivisesti eri puolilla Suomea. Tämän lisäksi hän on opettanut mm. Tukholmassa Danshusetissa sekä Lontoon tanssikouluissa, kuten Flow Dance Ovalissa, BASE Studiolla ja The Manorissa.
Robyn tunnetaan monipuolisena, määrätietoisena ja aurinkoisena opettajana. Hänelle on tärkeää huomioida jokainen oppilas sekä luoda kannustava ja positiivinen oppimisympäristö. Robynin tunneilla on lämmin ja rohkaiseva tunnelma, jossa jokaisella on lupa oppia uutta ja saada onnistumisen kokemuksia. Hän haluaa aina opettaa myös lajille ominaista tanssitekniikkaa, joka valmistaa ja antaa työkaluja koreografian opetteluun.
Robyn työskentelee opettamisen lisäksi muun muassa koreografina, ja hänen viimeisimmät tuotantonsa ovat olleet Helsingin Ylioppilasteatterin musiikkiteatteriteokset Kissa ja Elävät Elävät. Esiintyjänä Robyn on työskennellyt mm. Vaasan Kaupunginteatterissa esityskaudella 2021–2022 ja Ismo Dance Companyn jäsenenä 2022. Lisäksi hänet on voinut nähdä tv-tuotannoissa, kuten Emma-gaalassa 2020, Idols Suomessa 2019 ja Tähdet, tähdet! -ohjelmassa 2019 sekä Saara Aallon Wild Wonderland kesäkiertueella 2018.
Robynin suurin inspiraatio on musiikki.

✨ Commercial Dance – beginners✨
The Commercial Dance style taught by Robyn combines different dance techniques from jazz to street dance, such as hip hop, house and reggaeton. Robyn’s choreographies include different rhythms, steps and grooves – without forgetting listening to the music, performing and be self-confidence.
The workshop starts with an effective warm-up, during which the dance techniques needed in the choreography are also practiced. The rest of the class is about learning the choreography designed by Robyn.
This workshop is for you, if you have recently started dancing and you do not have that much previous dance experience. We proceed in a calm pace and practice steps and choreoraphy in small parts with a lot of repetitions.
✨ Commercial Dance – intermediate ✨
The Commercial Dance style taught by Robyn combines different dance techniques from jazz to street dance, such as hip hop, house and reggaeton. Robyn’s choreographies include different rhythms, steps and grooves – without forgetting listening to the music, performing and be self-confidence.
During the workshop we will practice the dance techniques needed in the choreography. The choreography challenges you with e.g. coordination, movement dynamics and musicality.
This intermediate workshop progresses at a faster pace than the beginners’ workshop.
✨ Heels – open level ✨
In Robyn’s open level Heels dance class, you will learn the basics of dancing with Heels. The workshop is suitable for dancers who already have some previous dance experience with heels dancing or a similar dance style.
At the workshop, we practice the basic techniques of heels dancing, and the exercises are suitable for dancers of all levels, from beginners to advanced. The choreography designed by Robyn is technically suitable for intermediate dancers, it is sensual and includes a calm floor section.
However, Robyn’s teaching style includes practicing the choreography in small parts with a lot of repetitions. There is always an easier and simpler alternative for more challenging dance moves.
You can also come to the workshop without high heels. And if you have sensitive knees, it is a good idea to bring knee pads with you.
🧡 Robyn Vuorela 🧡
Robyn Vuorela is a dancer, actor and singer who also works as a choreographer and dance teacher. Robyn is originally from Häme, but has studied and worked in Helsinki, Stockholm and London. Robyn has a professional dancer’s degree from the Stockholm Ballet Academy and a Master’s degree in Musical Theatre from the London Studio Centre.
They have been working as a dance teacher actively around Finland since 2015. Besides, Robyn has been teaching in Danshuset in Stockholm and London’s theater schools, such as Flow Dance Oval, BASE Studio and The Manor.
As a teacher, Robyn is known as a versatile, determined and sunny teacher. It is important for them to consider each dancer and create a stimulating and positive learning environment. Robyn’s classes have a warm and encouraging atmosphere, where everyone is allowed to learn new things and gain experience of success. Robyn always wants to teach the dance techniques that prepare and give tools for learning choreography.
In addition to teaching, Robyn works as a choreographer and their most recent productions have been the musical theater works Kissa and Elävät Elävät at the Helsinki University Theater. As a performer, Robyn has worked for example in Vaasa City Theater for the season 2021-2022 and as a member of Ismo Dance Company in 2022. Besides, they have been in different TV productions, such as Emma Gala 2020, Idols Finland 2019, Tähdet, tähdet! 2019, and Saara Aalto’s Wild Wonderland summer tour 2018.
Robyn’s biggest inspiration is music.
