Rob BBQ from Northants, is a true legend in the BBQ Industry not just for his social media and amazing food but his outstanding work for charity through all of his channels. The Auldton Team have been lucky enough to spend time with Rob at the Royal Highland Show last year and down in Birmingham.Rob BBQ also known as BBQ Jedi will be coming upto Scotland to host a brand new class. This class will be aimed at Beginners and Intermediate Grillers looking to hone in their skills and learn more about cooking over live fire. Master the Art and get the basics perfected before learning some more advanced techniques.

We will be Donating 10% of all ticket sales to Narcolepsy UK, a charity that helps Rob and his family on a daily basis.
FOOD & DRINK
At Auldton Stoves we try and keep produce as local as possible. Nothing better than to be eating food you know has been grown, reared, butchered and cooked within a 10 mile radius! We will be using produce from Auldton Farm as much as possible if in season and local farms around us. Below is a sample menu of what type of things to expect. Subject to change.

A very hands on cooking class as its the best way to learn new techniques and recipes while nailing down the basics. BBQ Rob claims that nailing the basics and perfecting the art of controlling your grill means your half way there to becoming a pitmaster. Learn how to control your grill and fire while cooking incredible crowd pleasers! Rob will show you how to manage, control and stock your grill while sharing tips and tricks along the way. BBQ is never about timing and all about temperature and Rob is the man to learn these skills from as a BBQ chef who has worked in many professional kitchens all around Europe. Hands on cooking experience using the newest season grills. Kamado Joe’s, Gozney Pizza Ovens, Monolith, BBQube etc. This event will give you confidence to go home and cook up a storm for family and friends! Obviously you will be eating the food you are cooking… with a drink in hand. This event is ideal for beginners and Intermediate back yard grillers. TRAVEL & LOCATION
Live Fire Cook Schools will be happening at our purpose built outdoor Cook School Area located at the Auldton Stoves Showroom. Auldton Stoves Ltd, Auldton Farm, Lugton Road, Dunlop, KA3 4DR (25mins from Glasgow and 25min Ayr). The new Cook School Area offers a covered outdoor patio meaning we will survive the Scottish Weather! We will also have indoor space if required.
For those travelling that want a drink we are accessible via train (Dunlop Station) and bus (Lugton Road). We are within walking distance to Dunlop Station (1.1mi) or can uplift from the station if pre-organised.
If you are travelling from a distance don’t worry. We can organise your stay at our local Country Club and Spa with special rates. Please organise this through our office. 01560 480002. You might even catch a drink with the gust chef!
ABOUT Rob BBQ
Rob BBQ started off on his food journey as a youngster working in professional kitchens around the world. As he learned his craft he started to climb the ladder finding himself in some of the best restaurants and private kitchens in Europe. His true passion however was live fire cooking. Rob returned back to the UK once family came along and at the time had a career change outside of the hospitality world. Rob has never however forgotten about his passion and took to social media with his cooks while sharing his experiences with his followers. Robs social media platforms kept growing and growing and soon he caught the eye of many Market Leading Brands in the UK. He is now an Ambassador for Kamado Joe, Masterbuilt and Angus & Oink. This allows Rob to keep his passion alive cooking and creating content for brands he loves while teaching BBQ around the UK and rest of Europe each year.
Family Life is important and below is a insight to Robs life and the work he does for Charity.
5 years ago Robs daughter was diagnosed with Narcolepsy and Cataplexy, a rare neurological condition which affects just 1 in 2000 people. Approximately 3 million people have this condition worldwide. The most common symptoms is uncontrollable tiredness but the condition is so much more than that.
A few years ago Rob did a 36 hr live on Instagram. He stayed awake, cooked up a storm on the BBQ and talked to lots of people from around the world for 36hrs straight! Why 36hrs? Well someone with narcolepsy feels like they’ve been awake for 36hrs every single day. That is why he has picked a 36 hr live, so he can experience what his 11 year old daughter feels like day in day out.
There is so little awareness about this condition and so Rob spends a lot of his time creating awarness through his channels. Narcolepsy UK have been outstanding in supporting Rob and his family in their journey so far and every year he does amazing charity work in order to give just a little bit back to the charity he holds close to his heart.
