Roborise Team Explore Summer Camp (Grade 1-3)
Welcome to FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Team Explore for Gr. 1-4, an exciting adventure tailored for students in grades 1-4! Our program combines the thrill of robotics with the exploration of real-world challenges, inspiring young minds to discover the endless possibilities of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
In this engaging course, participants will immerse themselves in hands-on activities and collaborative projects designed to ignite their curiosity and creativity. Guided by experienced and certified technology teacher Janessa from Calgary STEM School, students will delve into the fundamentals of robotics and coding using the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime set.
Throughout the program, participants will tackle a series of exciting challenges that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. From designing and programming robots to complete missions on themed playing fields to conducting research on real-world problems and proposing innovative solutions, students will develop invaluable skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
Moreover, our course emphasizes the core values of FIRST, including teamwork, cooperation, and gracious professionalism, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every participant can thrive.
