"Robert Graham and The Landing" return to Clancy's stage with their superb musicianship, soaring three-part vocal harmonies and often hilarious stage presence!
Expect all-original rock, pop, soul, jazz, country, (and even a few epic power ballads!) together with a few tasty covers that will make you go "Mmmmmm".
Come and take a beautiful (and often exhilarating) emotional journey through the songs and stories of musician, singer and songwriter Robert Graham. From his 2022 album "The Line", (described as "beautiful, heartbreaking, comforting, and more"), to cuts from his EP "When I Feel Like This" (made with his Toronto band The Fairest and Best), as well as his eclectic debut album "Storm in a Teacup", this concert features multi-genre gems, offering "more twists and turns than your average Agatha Christie novel" (BBC).
Joining "The Landing" will be the wondrous "Paperback Fort". Described as a "business-casual mix of yacht rock melodies, jazz harmony, and indie pop grooves" Paperback Fort (AKA Ed Drake) has recently launched into the scene with his new album of self-produced/mixed/mastered demos ‘EZ-PZ!’.
Since April 2023 Paperback Fort have been circuiting Perth venues with an ecstatic reaction from audiences. Expect warbly guitar tones., retro synths, and you might even catch a horn or two on stage blasting out dance-inducing grooves with ‘melt in your mouth’ jazz chords played on his signature electric piano.
