Robert Swanson, a Navy veteran, was a former commander of American Legion Post 1, and founded the American Legion Riders in Nebraska. Robert was always a very strong advocate for the military, veterans, and education. After his death, a scholarship in his name was established to benefit military affiliated students at UNO. On April 24, 2025 whether you dine in, place it to-go order, or purchase gift cards you will be helping perpetuate this scholarship for future students.
