Robb is a great songwriter & guitarist with a social conscience & a fine sense of humour. His newest CD, Voilà!l, features Roger, a songwriter in traditional style & hugely influential melodeon player. Tonight’s playlist will be a mixture of Robb's songs with Roger adding melodeon & Roger’s non-standard tune arrangements with Robb playing guitar. Robb & Roger will give us two forty-five minute spots & the rest of the evening is filled by members of the audience doing a song or tune if they wish.
Everyone is welcome, especially if you'd like to sing or play. We mostly sing and play traditional music from the British Isles, but we enjoy other styles as well. We always start off with some English dance tunes for anyone with an instrument to join in.
