The Idaho Jazz Education Endowment presents Rob Verdi with Special Guests: How Jazz Influences Pop, Rock and R&B.
Joining Rob will be 3 special vocalists: Jake Steigers, Emily Stanton & Shirley VanPaepeghem, and a 7 piece band including our fabulous IJEE horn section.
Rob will be bringing several of his amazing arrangements as well as several we have had commissioned especially for this concert.
You’ll be hearing music from Steely Dan, Al Jarreau, Stevie Wonder, Chuck Mangione, Larry Carlton, Spyro Gyra, Average White Band. Some of the styles of jazz you’ll hear will include smooth, cool and fusion.

With the purchase of a ticket, Sapphire guests are eligible for The Riverside Hotel's "Sapphire Getaway" for $169 + tax. This rate is available for the night of the Sapphire Room show and includes a standard hotel room (double occupancy) and breakfast for two the following morning. To reserve, please call the Riverside Hotel front desk at 208-343-1871. The Sapphire Getaway rate is subject to availability and blackout dates. It will not be available for every show.
