Roane State's annual Academic Festival is returning for 2025 with the theme "Live Long and Prosper." On April 11, hundreds of local high school students will gather on the Roane County Campus to showcase their knowledge, skills, and talents across dozens of disciplines.This year's festival will feature more than 60 events in multiple categories, including art, business, creative writing, dance, health science, history, journalism, languages, math and physics, music, philosophy, science, speech, and theatre.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with a general assembly scheduled to start at 9:15am ET in the gymnasium. Competitions will begin at 9:30am ET in specified locations across campus. The awards ceremony is scheduled for approximately 12:30pm ET following the dance competition.
