Roamin Club Meeting on Wednesday, October 1st. We will be celebrating October's Birthstone: Opal and all other iridescent minerals. So, gather up your various opal varieties and anything else that is iridescent and bring these shiny beauties to the meeting. Iridescent minerals include: Minerals with light-interference colors like opals and rainbow hematite. Minerals with a "peacock" tarnish like bornite and chalcopyrite. Also iridescent are minerals exhibiting schiller like labradorite, moonstone, and fire agate.
Everyone is welcome to attend club meetings. You do not need to be a member.
