March Roads of Lithuanian Soldiers 2024PLACE OF THE START AND FINISH:

PARTICIPANTS:
Citizens of the Republic of Lithuania and foreign countries can participate in the hike individually and in teams.
PROGRAM:
08:00 – 11:00 a.m. – arrival, final registration;
08:00 – 11:00 a.m. – start for the walkers of 20 km and 40 km distances;
09:00 – 10:00 a.m. – start for the walkers of 10 km;
14:00 – 22:00 p.m. – finish, awards and departure.

Advance registration with the payment is available from the 1st of October 2024 until the 20th of November 2024 via link or at the starting point.
PARTICIPATION FEE AND PAYMENT METHODS:
10 km – 12,00 EUR
20 km – 15,00 EUR
40 km – 17,00 EUR
Registration with a medal until the 20th of November – 39,00 EUR.
For participants under the age of 12, the hiking fee is 6,00 EUR.
Innovation of this year – discount of 25% for groups of over 50 walkers: 10 km fee – 9,00 EUR, 20 km fee – 11,25 EUR, 40 km fee – 12,75 EUR.
Registration with the chest badge until the 20th of November – 35,00 EUR.
Patriotic march patch – 6,50 EUR/pcs.
If the participant's registration fee is not paid by the 20th of November 2024, the late registration fee for all distances + 4,00 EUR.
DISTANCES:
• 10 km ~ 3-4 hours easy trail for families with kids;
• 20 km. ~ 4-5 hours a moderate route for hikers with various abilities;
• 40 km. ~ 8-10 hours challenging trail for experienced hikers;
• sports track 40 km (with the 10 kg backpack) ~ -9 hours.
The start of the march starts immediately after the final registration;
Participants must complete the selected distance by 22:00 p.m.;
Hiking routes, checkpoints and rest points are marked with the special signs, arrows and tapes;
Participants must take care of their health during the march, if necessary seek medical attention;
Completing the chosen distance, participants (teams) mark themselves at checkpoints.
It is forbidden to use any means of transport and to run while completing the selected distance. It is forbidden to complete the selected distance opposite the intended direction of the distance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTICIPANTS:
You must have a personal identification document with you;
It is mandatory to comply with general ethical norms, not to violate human rights and freedoms, to be disciplined, to protect nature and the environment, to comply with the requirements of traffic rules;
It is necessary to inform the organizers about withdrawing from the walk;
It is forbidden to spread political propaganda, litter and violate public order, road traffic rules, nature protection and fire protection requirements;
During the hike, participants are prohibited from using any means of transport (rollers, scooters, bicycles, skis).
Participants have the rights: freely express their opinion; to withdraw from the trip or refuse to participate in it at any time, after notifying the organizers;
During the hike, the participant is responsible for his own health and personal belongings. Persons under the age of 16 are in the responsibility of accompanying adults.
AWARDS:
After completing the chosen distance, the participants are awarded with diplomas and medals (upon ordering them).
Medals: The 3rd degree medal - 1-3 marches;
The 2nd degree medal - 4-6 marches;
The 1st degree medal - 7-9 marches;
Medal of the highest degree - 10 and more marches.
Chest badge - completed 20 distance.
OTHER CONDITIONS:
The organizers, following these regulations, reserve the right to disqualify the participants of the hike.

INTENTIONS OF THE MARCH:
-To support the activities of the Museum of the Uniforms of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, its development and acquisition of new exhibits;
- Unify the communication of soldiers, officers of paramilitary structures and civilians, cooperation between institutions, bodies, organizations, various nations, communities, youth organizations;
- Develop youth citizenship, raise awareness;
- To instill love and civic duty for the Motherland;
- Include as many Lithuanian citizens, guests from abroad and youth organizations as possible in this march;
- Nurturing the history to develop the patriotic consciousness of the youth;
- To promote the unification of people who like to travel and at the same time to communicate and get to know each other;
- To promote walking as an active, cultural and environmentally friendly form of leisure time, to ensure meaningful and meaningful leisure time;
- To improve a person's physical and psychological preparation;
- To introduce Kaunas region, its culture, nature, cultural heritage;
