Road to START Hack presented by START Nürnberg x OHM-Potentiale

On 06-07 December, we - the student initiative START Nuremberg and the founder program OHM-Potentiale - warmly invite you to our two-day hackathon on the topic: ”Reuse, Reduce, Recycle”

What's awaiting you?

• Work interdisciplinarily and creatively on real challenges the world is facing today
• Present your idea on Saturday in front of a selected jury
• Win prize money total 600 euros for your idea and a trip to St. Gallen for Europe's largest entrepreneurship hackathon, the "START Hack"

We will provide you with an entertaining program with a mix of input sessions, time for teamwork and talks over snacks with startups and other participants. Learn about innovation methods like Design Thinking & Lean Startup and apply them in practice.

Because it is hard to think on an empty stomach, catering is provided on site.

• No technical, business or programming skills are required - all fields of study are welcome.
• Both German and English speakers are welcome!🚀

• We only have 40 seats! Depending on the number of applications, participants will be selected by a mixture of first-come-first-serve and quality of application. So don't waste any time
• 10 teams will be assigned randomly - if no preferences are selected

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is a creative and in-depth competition in which participants develop innovative solutions to real-world problems in a short period of time. These events bring together people of different backgrounds and skills to work in teams on projects. The focus is on fast prototyping, creative problem solving, and creating functional solutions. A hackathon provides a unique opportunity to learn new skills, bring ideas to life, and develop innovative solutions - regardless of prior technical knowledge.

With the participation of the Road to START Hack, START Nuremberg and OHM-Potentiale receive the exclusive, temporally and physically unlimited as well as irrevocable permission from the attendees to produce image/video recordings of the attendee as well as to make these recordings publicly available without any special compensation.
