Let’s go to the Jersey Shore! Want to come up to Asbury Park this summer? Here’s the idea: A bunch of people all going up to the shore at the same time, but not actually together. Everyone gets to pick their own adventure- Want to go to the beach? Do it. Rather be at the pool with bathrooms? OK. Want to go to the arcade? Sure, other people might want to too. Want to go out to dinner? There are some great restaurants. Rather have food grubhub’ed to the pool? That sounds great. Want to go mini golf? It’s right down the boardwalk. Want to do things as a group? People will probably want to join. Want to have a romantic date with you sweetie? No one’s feelings are going to be hurt.Everyone is in charge of getting their own accommodations that fit their individual needs and price points.
Amelia put together a very loose schedule:
Friday Night: Hang out at Georgie’s, Asbury’s classic gay bar. Prices are great and it’s super casual.
Saturday Day: Hang out at the pool at the Empress Hotel. Note: the pool charges admission if you aren’t staying at the hotel, but you can come and go as you please after you get a wristband. There are chairs, bathrooms, and a bar for your comfort. The nice thing about the pool is you can bring food in from the boardwalk/ get food delivered.
Saturday Night: TBD
Sunday Day: NJ Leather Family Beer Bust at Georgie’s Bar
