About this Event

Celebrate Halloween with a twist at our Pesticide CEU Day! Join us at UF/IFAS Extension Volusia County for a day filled with learning and fun. Get your Continuing Education Units while enjoying the festive spirit. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to enhance your knowledge and network with fellow professionals in the industry. See you there!


A total of 6 Maximum CEUs can be earned in this program if you attend both parts.

Info: This training provides urban pesticide applicators in Florida with essential safety knowledge for working along roadways. It covers legal responsibilities, including OSHA, FDOT, and FDACS requirements, and emphasizes the importance of pre-work site assessments to identify traffic and environmental hazards. Applicators learn to adapt required PPE to provide high visibility, correct work zone setup, vehicle labeling and positioning to ensure safety, effective team communication, managing public interactions, and spill response procedures.
