Here it is everybody!!! The January 17th, from 2 pm to 6 pm at "The Vault" here in Baraboo. Can start coming in by 1 pm. Address: 502 Oak St, Baraboo, WI 53913. Right on the Baraboo square where the old Wells Fargo bank was. This will be a fundraiser event to help get the "Road 2 Healing" transportation service on it's wheels. This service is going to be designed to take people to detox, treatment, AODA meetings, to go do sober activities during the weekend, AND get people home safe and legal trouble free from the bars if they're too impaired to drive themselves. The goal: to raise enough funds to purchase an all wheel or 4 wheel vehicle with preferably a 3rd row seating.
Raffle items: so far I have a 75' inch Phillips smart TV, a 90'×80' 2 sided print minky blanket from the Sober Vision Creationz, a couple recovery tattoo vouchers from the Luv Bug Tattoo & Collectibles etc...
I'll be having a few speakers there to tell their story why a service like this is so important, I'll have my buddy Up North Jake as a musical guest, we'll have a couple harm reduction and info tables there from the Project WisHope and Sauk County Justice, Diversion, and Support and delicious food from Mikes Italian Restaurant from right here in Baraboo. Let's also give a big shout out to the Support People and Empower Recovery - SUPER for believing in me and showing support. This is community support and it shows strength in numbers. #TogetherWeAreStrong
