What to Expect from your STEADY Run Group
In this group we will be welcoming ladies who haven't run in a while and want to get back into it. We will start out with short and slow runs with walking breaks and work your way up from there.
Very steady jogging with regular breaks, walking and and jogging combinations - shortest distance.
We will be approaching your return to running over a 1-2 month span rather than something that will bring immediate results, and consider your new commitment to running a long-term investment in your physical and mental health.
Guidance for YOU to Attend This Run Safely
• Please do not come to an RLJ run if you or your family are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
• Please advise us if after attending a run with us you later develop COVID-19 symptoms.
• Before you leave home please follow all hygiene guidance including washing your hands for at least 20 seconds.
• Please ensure that you know all the arrangements prior to leaving home such as who your coach is and where and when you are meeting. Take their phone number with you if you can.
• Your coach will not be able to take your keys or your coat, jumpers, so please ensure you make the necessary arrangements for your personal belongings.
• Please ensure you have enough hydration for the session.
• We encourage you to bring hand sanitizer with you in case you should need it.
• Please do not congregate before or after your run.
• Please ensure that we run 2 metres apart at all times and give other road/pavement\park users space too.
• Please do not share water or food etc.
• First aid will be minimal, so please be extra vigilant to your surroundings when running.
