Ron "RJ" Williams Hip Hop Improv Workshop

In this workshop, students will learn the basics of creating a hip hop improv scene. We will dive into various styles of flow and work various aspects of our rhyming brains. There will be exercises to introduce students to rhyming structure, story progression through rapping and more. The workshop will end with scenes that lead into rap.
RJ Williams teaches at The Second City NY and has performed hip hop improv in the US, Europe, and Japan. He is part of the musical supergroup Baby Wants Candy, which performs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year, and is a veteran member of North Coast Hip Hop Improv. He is also a playwright, drummer, and produces music for various projects.
