'Rizzy and the Banished' is a newly formed Auckland-based quintet united by revolutionary Ben Ridsdale. Inspired by gospel grooves, modal harmonies and thickening rhythms, the 'Banished' aim to play a variety of pieces from the likes of Brian Blade to some of their own original arrangements.
