"RIYAAZ", the word originates from the Arabic Word "Riyaadaa", implying `to practice`. Practicing and rehearsing art has been ordained the stature of `sadhana` in Indian treatise of art, the Natyashastra. Bharata mentions `Ayam` and `Vyama` as two most essential components of art praxis. Pushpak Dance Academy, ably guided by Smt. Alokparna Guha, always believes in the efficacy of Riyaaz. Therefore, their annual art confluence and celebration festival caters to eminent artists and Young practitioners in the field of classical dance. The dignatories, gliteratti, and cognoscenti perform their forms and explores the space with their intricate Riyaaz-oriented practices, to inspire and nurture the seedlings of tomorrow.
