Kick off the New Year with Riverwalk Atlanta. For the second year in a row, a friend has invited her friends to show up and volunteer as part of her birthday celebration! The more the merrier, come on and we'll teach you about removing invasive plants from the understory in the flood plain forest. Weather will be perfect! With the cool weather, we barely sweat and there are no mosquitos! You'll shed your jacket in the first 30 minutes. We gather starting at 8:30 for coffee and doughnuts, and hike down into the woods a little after 9:00. We return promptly at 12 noon for a fabulous catered meal from Eric the Bee Man, our neighbor who volunteers with his unique talents, a great way to support our efforts! Bring your gloves and your water bottle. We have the tools!
