Let's celebrate the power of music to bring people together for a good cause – to support Kebaowek First Nation’s legal challenge against a nuclear waste facility soon to be built next to the Ottawa River. Come and join us for an evening of inspiring music from our guest artists: folk music icon Ian Tamblyn; singer-songwriter Pat Mayberry; lead singer and songwriter of Juno Award-winning Kobo Town, Drew Gonsalves; Celtic group Dolas with Kevin and Ciaran Dooley; Just Voices Choir; and the Kebaowek First Nation Singers and Drummers.
The evening will include a silent auction with many beautiful donated items. Please join us from 6:30 to 7 PM to get your seat (no reserved seating) and check out the auction items.
Kebaowek First Nation has taken the federal government to court to protect their rights and the Kichi Sibi that is the water source for millions of Canadians. Proceeds of this event will go directly to fund Kebaowek’s court battle.
