We'll also take this opportunity to honor an individual or organization whose outstanding contributions have significantly impacted the Wabash River and its surroundings.
Our organization is dedicated to creating an active waterfront in the Wabash Valley. Our mission is to inspire investment, development, and activation of the waterfront by private, public, and philanthropic partners, ultimately making Terre Haute and Vigo County the most vibrant, beautiful, and prosperous riverfront community in Indiana. Through initiatives like the Riverfront Development Master Plan, we strive to stimulate economic growth, protect and enhance the natural ecosystems, and provide convenient, safe, and enjoyable access to a variety of quality of life and water-related activities in and along the riverfront. We are actively involved in projects that enhance trails, create public spaces, and work towards long-term environmental sustainability.
