Born out of the simple idea of being able to play anywhere at any time, Rivers is central Pennsylvania’s alt-folk powerhouse. Brought together and baptized by the mighty Susquehanna, the duo creates an eclectic inundation of sound using only simple acoustic instruments.Made up of Joe Schaefer on upright bass and Vincent Yarnell on acoustic guitar and banjo, Rivers delivers an electrifying array of technical nuance and heavy-thumping beats worthy of remembrance.
