The Riverina Summer School for Strings (RSSS) is a week-long string school that takes place in Wagga Wagga, NSW in January each year. It is a non-profit organisation run by a volunteer committee.Founded by internationally recognised Australian cellist Nelson Cooke in 1988 RSSS has provided a fully-immersive string experience for students of all ages and abilities for the past 36 years.
RSSS is open to bowed string players and guitarists of all ages. The Artistic Faculty includes some of Australia's best string players.
RSSS will be held 12-18 January 2025.
Esteemed violinist Dr Susan Collins will return as Music Director.
