Come and help us monitoring the quality of the water by counting how many, and which freshwater creatures are living in the water. No experience is needed. We will bring all the equipment needed. Please do wear outdoor clothing and footwear suitable for the weather. Please feel free to bring a hot drink and snack and something light and portable to sit or kneel on. We do not ask people to stay for the whole session. How long it lasts depends on what we find. If you have any questions please do email at [email protected]We will meet outside The Catalyst Building, University of Staffordshire, Leek Road, Stoke on Trent, ST4 2DF. There is a car park and you will need to pay just before you leave. There is a bus stop on Leek Road (9, 500) and a number of buses stop at Stoke Station about 10 minutes walk away. Cafe and toilets can be found at the Catalyst Building.
We will meet in the car park next to Ford Green Hall (free). There are bus stops on Ford Green Road (8, 8a, 24, 60, 62). Ford Green Hall may be open towards the end of the session with toilet and cafe.
