Join experienced forager and wild crafter Jon Tyler for a unique foraging and wild cooking experience at West Stow Country Park.
About this Event

Slow down and tune into the beautiful and bountiful landscape of West Stow Country Park. During this event, you will join experienced forager and wild craft enthusiast Jon Tyler (Wild for Woods), to explore and enjoy a natural seasonal menu. With the country park as your supermarket, you will begin with a gentle guided stroll to explore and forage edible plants. You will then join Jon as he cooks up a sample menu for you to try, while you enjoy naturally infused herbal teas around the camp stove.

West Stow Country Park is a landscape of 125 acres of unspoiled countryside, with heathland, woodland, and the River Lark. The Country Park surrounds the ancient and historically significant site of West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village.

This event is hosted as part of the Brecks Outdoor Festival, a two week celebration of the landscapes and heritage of the Norfolk and Suffolk Brecks. The Brecks Outdoor Festival (7th-22nd September) is hosted by the Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme with thanks to the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
