Come walk North River and enjoy education on beaver traits, tracks, the fur trade and their importance to us, thanks to Missouri Department of Conservation! The terrain will be steep in one area getting to the river, so please wear water shoes and prepare to get muddy and wet! (Water bottles, sun protection and bug spray encouraged) We’ll also be making a message in a bottle craft! Please call and register to determine supplies needed! 🦫
DIRECTIONS- after reaching our sesquicentennial building, go past the public pool, take a right down the gravel road. Go past Wells Nature Park and the shelter by the pond. The end of the gravel will take you to North River. We will meet on the sandbar following the small path to the right. You will see our flag!
