Come join us for a visit to the nature center and a walk on trails along the Des Plaines River.About this Event
The group meets just inside the nature center entrance. We'll view the exhibits indoors then head outdoors to see the animal ambassadors. Afterwards we take a walk to explore this preserve.
Our walk will be at a moderate pace on unpaved paths. Weather appropriate clothing and good hiking boots or something comparable are recommended.
There is wildlife to see here and the terrain is interesting in all seasons.
Walkers participate at their own risk.
