Our Winter Faire is a cherished seasonal gathering that brings our River Song community together in the heart of winter. Rooted in warmth, creativity, and connection, this annual event is part fundraiser, part potluck, and part craft fair—offering families and friends a chance to slow down, share a meal, and celebrate the season side by side. As a fundraiser, the Winter Faire directly supports River Song’s programs, teachers, and the experiences we offer our children throughout the year. Every meal ticket and activity card, shared dish, and moment of participation helps sustain our school and the values we hold dear.Throughout the day, guests are invited to explore a thoughtfully curated craft activities including the ever popular gnome garden builds. Children can engage in simple, hands-on activities that honor imagination and meaningful work, while adults enjoy browsing, visiting, and reconnecting.
We will be bringing back King Winter and The Pocket Lady to delight the children with their presence and presents! Make sure to find them upon you visit to Club Tico.
The teachers will put on a puppet play at 11:30.
Our community potluck invites families to contribute and share nourishing dishes, creating a table that reflects the care and generosity that define River Song. Please remember to label your dish as well as include ingredients and potential allergens. When we sit together to eat, talk, and laugh is one of the simplest and most meaningful ways we build community. Help us reduce waste – BYO plates, spoons, and cups for tea. We’ll have soup bowls.
We hope you’ll join us on January 24 for an afternoon of warmth, creativity, and togetherness—celebrating winter and the strength of our community. This is one of our biggest fundraiser so come on out and support River Song! This year’s raised funds will be put towards finishing up the front and backyard shade projects to keep the kids and teachers happy and safe in our hot Colorado summers.
