River Mersey (Stockport) Guided Walk & Litter Pick

A fairly short (5km) guided walk along the newly announced Mersey Valley Way, mostly on the flat and on good quality paths. We will start at Stockport Interchange and walk down to Vale Road at Heaton Mersey along the north bank of the River Mersey. We will return by the same route to Stockport Interchange. As well as walking and pointing out interesting facts about the river, we will also take the opportunity to do some litter picking (all equipment provided).
