River Don clean up at Walk Mill island

DCRT are teaming up with Friends of the Blue Loop who look after the stretch of river from Victoria Quays to Meadowhall. We will be using a ladder to go down the wall onto Walk Mill Island at Effingham Street, and hauling up the litter using ropes and ton sacs. Confidence/competence to use the ladder is required for this activity.

The day will run from 10 am to 1pm with a tea break in the middle. Meeting point will be at the junction of Effingham Street and Furnival Road.
