� River Cleanup Day – Volunteers Needed �Cumberland Marine LLC is sponsoring a River Cleanup Day to give back to the river our community enjoys for fishing, boating, and recreation.
� Date: Saturday, February 7th
� Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (volunteers welcome for any amount of time)
� Area: River stretch from I-295 to Lock 3, including the Old Wilmington Hwy Boat Ramp, Deep Creek Outfitters, and the lock & dam area
� Rain Date: TBD
Because much of the river bank in this area is only accessible by water, we are looking for volunteers with boats to help access cleanup areas along the river.
� No boat? No problem. Cleanup efforts will also focus on public access points and boat ramps, allowing volunteers to participate from land as well.
� Trash bags, gloves, and supplies provided
� Family-friendly (minors with parent/guardian)
� Boat participation is voluntary and self-directed
This is a community effort focused on making a positive impact, and if participation and impact are strong, we hope to make this an annual event.
