It's the walking group's 5th Anniversary coming up on the 2nd of February. Over that weekend and the following week, we are going to be running a series of walks and also having a shared dinner. These are mostly family-friendly walks. There's no need to register for them or sign up for the club, just show up at the time and location advertised for each walk.Bushy Park Walk
Saturday 1st February
For the first of our 5th Anniversary walks, we are off to Bushy Park, which was where we had our first event back in 2020. There will be multiple walk lengths available from 20 minutes up to 2 and a half hours
Difficulty Level: Easy & Easy/Mod
Meeting Location: COI car park if getting transport with us or at Bushy Park Car park
Time: 1pm at COI or 1.30pm at Kai Iwi
Cost:$5 (if getting transport)
$4 for CSC/ Gold cardholders, students, and youth 10-16 years (2-9 are half of full price)

Bason Botanical Reserve Walk & Shared Dinner
Sunday 2nd February
For this walk at Bason Botanical Reserve, we will start by walking around the arboretum and gardens at the top of the reserve before heading down the hill for the Native Bush & Lake Tracks. Shared dinner to follow, there may be cake 😋
Difficulty Level: Easy
Meeting Location: top car park for walk, BBQ by furn house for Dinner
Time: 3pm for walk, 5pm for Dinner

Waitangi Day Walk - Aramoho to Upokongaro
Thursday 6th February
This popular walkway follows the Whanganui River from the Aramoho Cemetery out to Upokongaro, crossing over the river just downriver of Upokongaro. After a short break in Upokongaro we will head back the way we came.

Round the Bridges, Railway to Dublin Twilight Walk
Saturday 8th February
The last of the walks around the club's 5th anniversary is a twilight walk that takes for the loop around the Dublin Street and Railway Bridges
