Make a Difference: Join LLELA’s River Care Team! 🌿Looking for a way to give back to nature and make a tangible impact in your community? Join us every Second Saturday as volunteers from all walks of life come together to care for the Elm Fork of the Trinity River shoreline.
From families and college students to Scouts and passionate individuals, our River Care Team is united by a shared goal: keeping our riverbanks clean and beautiful for wildlife and visitors alike.
📅 When: Second Saturday of each month
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
📍 Where: Meet at the LLELA Gatehouse before heading to the river parking area
What to Bring:
Work gloves (We will provide litter pickers and bags)
Sturdy, sensible shoes
A positive attitude and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty!
Spend a couple of hours with us, and you’ll leave knowing you’ve made a real difference for our environment. Whether you’re looking for service hours, a family-friendly activity, or just a meaningful way to spend your morning, we’d love to have you on the team!
