FAQs

W hen should we get to the hotel?

Please try to arrive 15 or 20 minutes prior to showtime. Unfortunately, most people these days seem to arrive just before the scheduled showtime. With everyone at the reservation desk at once, check-in can get backed up delay seating. If you arrive 15 or 20 minutes before showtime, you can check in, find your seats, then leisurely head to the bar to buy drinks to bring to the show.

Are there public safety requirements due to the Covid-19 pandemic?

As of April 1, 2022, the DC Theater community has no specific safety mandates or requirements. We are committed to the safety and health of our staff and audiences and will adopt future mandates and requirements should they arise.

Are ID or age requirements for the show?

The comedy in The Magic Duel frequently has a topical and adult humor slant which makes it great for adults and much less interesting to most people under 18 years old. This is a show for adults that teens might enjoy too.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

What's the refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the show. We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us before your ticketed show and we can also transfer your tickets to another performance date. We are unable to make any changes 72 hours prior to any showtime.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, on your phone is fine.

Is my ticket transferrable?

Yes. You can do this yourself through Eventbrite or contact us to help you with the process. Email [email protected] or text 202-262-3617; give us your full name, email address, the date and time of your current tickets, and the date and time to which you would like them transferred. We will do our best to get you the same seats, or as close to the front and center as possible unless you request otherwise.

What can I bring into the event?

Drinks are available at the lobby bar in the Ritz-Carlton. You may bring them into the show.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, whoever checks in can simply give the name of the person who purchased the tickets on Eventbrite.
