Rites of Passage (a Reclaiming core class) is designed to unite your creative and magical selves as you cultivate the skills to becoming your own priest/ess. We will be working with art and ritual as tools for self-transformation and world changing magic.
Times of great loss and change are times of initiation, they are portals for growth and awakening. It is in this shimmering, liminal moment that we as witches, magic makers, artists and creatives can and must be most effective. If you have been feeling unsure how to craft magic for these times, then now is a great time to deepen into your skills.
Through timeless ritual skills we are invited to ignite our divine inspiration and intuitive imagination and point them toward visioning and crafting the world we seek to experience. As part of this class we will be learning valuable ritual arts such as:
Trance - how to lead trances and using trance as part of ritual
Myth - exploring the structure of initiation stories and how to work with them in ritual
Mystery - building relationship with, listening to and Aspecting the Deities
Improvisation - learning ways to work with the unknown and to “play” in ritual
Creativity - how rhythm, chant, song and movement enhance magical spaces
Join the community of Spirit…immerse yourself in a journey into the heart of creativity, magic and mystery!
This is a core class in the Reclaiming tradition. We ask that you have attended an Elements of Magic class or been to a Reclaiming ritual or contact us directly about your ritual experience.
Location:
Rock Mama Gallery has a Studio space for classes located in the same parking lot, behind La Bou and facing Fruitridge.
